Innovative solution for online electricity consumption monitoring with Modbus RTU interface.
The tMEM is a single-phase bidirectional energy meter designed for connection to LK4 devices, providing a comprehensive solution for real-time electricity consumption tracking. Thanks to its bidirectional capability, it can measure both consumed and exported energy, making it ideal for installations with photovoltaic systems. Exported power is indicated by a “-” sign.
The device is supplied with a 100A/50mA current transformer and calibrated for precise measurements. The meter also allows event settings for optimizing energy usage in commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
Default settings
The tMEM is preconfigured with Modbus Slave ID: 1 and an automatic save interval of 600 seconds. Measured data, such as energy values, are stored in non-volatile memory at this interval. This default configuration suits most standard installations.
Quick Modbus address configuration
To check the current address, simply click the button once – the LED will blink to indicate the address (e.g., 2 blinks = address 2). To set a new address, press and hold the button. After 2 seconds, the LED will blink once. Continue holding – the LED will blink once per second up to five times. Release the button after the number of blinks matching the desired address.
Integration with LK
The tMEM integrates smoothly with LK4 and LK3.5+ devices. It can be powered directly from the LK controller via its 5 V and GND outputs, then connected – either alone or with other Modbus devices – to the LK Modbus A+ and B- terminals for communication.
