The SWM280 is a top-class network switch combining 12 PoE+ ports with up to 30 W per port and a total PoE budget of 300 W, 12 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and 4 SFP ports for optical uplinks. The switch supports advanced industrial protocols PROFINET, MRP, and EtherNet/IP, making it an ideal solution for mixed industrial environments.
The device comes with RMS cloud management including a two-year license, enabling remote administration, configuration, and monitoring. With non-blocking throughput of 56 Gbps and support for jumbo frames up to 10,000 bytes, it ensures high performance even under demanding network loads.
Industrial protocols and compatibility
The switch supports PROFINET Class B (optional), MRP client/manager roles for redundant topologies, and EtherNet/IP for integration with industrial systems. These features enable deployment in demanding industrial applications.

The device offers a complete set of L2+ features including loop protection, advanced VLAN management, DHCP server with wildcard MAC, and static IPv4/IPv6 routing. QoS implements scheduling methods SP/WFQ/WRR.
