The XtendLan POE2V1 kit allows you to transmit data and power for two PoE cameras simultaneously over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. The solution is ideal for saving on cabling, conduit, and reducing installation costs. The device operates in Ethernet doubler mode for two independent 10/100 Mbit/s circuits with PoE support, or in uPoE mode to double the power from 25 W to 50 W for a single device.
The kit includes two units – an injector (RJ-45 male to RJ-45 female) for connection to PoE switches and a splitter (RJ-45 female to RJ-45 male) for powering end devices. Anti-interference filtering eliminates problems with dropouts and network freezing caused by line interference. The device is compatible with Dahua and Hikvision PoE NVR and automatically adapts power on pins 12/36 or 45/78, ensuring compatibility with standard and non-standard PoE switches.
Operating modes
In Ethernet doubler mode, it allows connecting two IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points, or IP phones via a single cable with PoE support up to 25 W per device. In uPoE mode, two 802.3at ports can be combined into one uPoE port with 50 W power for more demanding devices, while gigabit transmission is supported on Cat6 cable.
