The HGD2 photocells are safety sensors designed for gate operators such as the HG2 400 and HG2 600 Pro. They consist of a transmitter (TX) and a receiver (RX) that create an invisible infrared beam to detect obstacles in the gate's path. Thanks to this function, they help prevent injuries to people and damage to property, thereby increasing the safety of your loved ones.
The photocells are designed with weather resistance in mind with an IP55 rating, allowing them to be used outdoors. Installation is simple thanks to 2-wire connection and 12 V DC power supply with a maximum power consumption of only 0.8 W for both sensors combined.

The photocells are primarily designed for EZVIZ HG2 series gate operators, specifically the HG2 400 and HG2 600 Pro models. They provide a safety function for obstacle detection, which prevents the gate from closing if a person or object is present in their path.
