Tapo C645D KIT represents an innovative outdoor security solution combining two independent 2K lenses – a wide-angle fixed lens for overall overview and a pan/tilt telephoto lens for detailed shots. The wide-angle lens with a field of view of 165.1° (diagonal) monitors the entire area, while the telephoto lens with 4.9× optical zoom automatically tracks detected objects with a pan range of 360° and tilt of 120°.
Thanks to the Tapo A201 solar panel with 2.5 W output, just 55 minutes of daily sunlight is enough for all-day operation. The built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 4 months of operation without charging. The camera offers color night vision with 6 built-in spotlights, AI detection of people, animals, and vehicles with automatic tracking, and two-way audio communication with noise cancellation.
Smart Detection and Tracking
The wide-angle lens detects motion throughout the monitored area and the telephoto lens immediately aims and automatically tracks the detected object. AI algorithms distinguish between people, pets, and vehicles, eliminating false alarms. User-definable detection zones allow monitoring only selected areas and ignoring unwanted parts of the footage.
Customizable Sound and Light Alarm
The camera offers the option to record a custom voice alert and adjust the brightness of 6 built-in spotlights to create a personalized alarm. The siren reaches an intensity of 91.5 dBA at 10 cm distance or 64.4 dBA at 3 meters distance.
Advanced Tapo App Features
The mobile app enables live view from both lenses simultaneously, “Tap to Focus” function for instant zoom on selected area, recording sharing, and complete camera settings management. Integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant provides voice control.
