The EPEVER IPB500-12 inverter is designed for off-grid DC-AC systems with 12 V DC voltage. Thanks to its advanced voltage-current algorithm with dual closed loop, it ensures precise power control and high stability. The inverter provides a pure sine wave output with total harmonic distortion below 3%, making it suitable for sensitive electronic devices.
The device features a utility bypass function that automatically switches to mains power when available, ensuring uninterrupted power supply. With continuous output of 500 W and short-term overload capability up to 1000 W, it is ideal for use in recreational vehicles, security systems, emergency lighting, or home power systems.
Advanced protection features
The inverter is equipped with a comprehensive input protection system against low voltage (below 10.8 V DC) and overvoltage (above 16 V DC). Outputs are protected against overload, short circuit, and overheating. Visual indication using LED indicators displays operating status, faults, and bypass mode.
Flexible connectivity and control
The device offers a standard European socket for AC output and a terminal block with fast fuse for DC input connection from the battery. The RS-485 port allows connection of a remote meter, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi module for monitoring. An external switch extends control options and reduces power consumption.
Cooling and construction
Active cooling is provided by a fan together with a passive heatsink, guaranteeing reliable operation even under higher loads. Compact construction with dimensions of 335 × 160 × 73 mm and weight of 2.3 kg allows easy installation in limited space.
High-frequency inverters are not suitable for powering inductive and capacitive loads, such as pumps, compressors, electric motors, or large switching power supplies. Before connecting inductive or capacitive loads, it is always necessary to measure inrush currents, which must not exceed the maximum power of the inverter.
