The gateway offers 6 gigabit ports (1× SFP, 5× RJ-45), of which up to 5 ports can function as WAN for connecting multiple internet lines. Intelligent load balancing distributes data streams according to the bandwidth share of each WAN port, maximizing the utilization of available connectivity.
The device supports a wide range of VPN protocols including SSL, IPSec, WireGuard, GRE, PPTP, and L2TP with the ability to create up to 100 IPSec tunnels or 50 SSL tunnels. Advanced security is ensured by an IPS/IDS module with more than 4000 signature rules, Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), and protection against DoS/DDoS attacks. The gateway can be centrally managed via Omada SDN Controller with cloud access for managing multiple branches from a single interface.
Advanced Network Features
The gateway supports Multi-Net DHCP, 802.1Q VLAN, static routing, policy routing, RIP, and OSPF protocols (in standalone mode). SD-WAN functionality enables application optimization and intelligent traffic routing. Stateful ACL, QoS, and IP-based bandwidth control ensure efficient network resource management.
Security and Authentication
The device offers web authentication with support for hotspot mode, RADIUS server, external portal, or LDAP. Advanced filtering includes source and destination IP address control, URL filtering, web security, and ARP inspection with IP-MAC binding. The IPS module with regular signature updates provides continuous protection against new threats.
Management and Monitoring
Web interface for configuration, SNMP v1/v2c/v3 for monitoring, CLI for advanced settings, configuration export and import. Diagnostic tools include ping and traceroute. Support for Dynamic DNS (DynDNS, No-IP), NTP synchronization, port mirroring, and syslog. Zero-Touch Provisioning with Omada Cloud-Based Controller enables automatic deployment of new devices.
