The UniFi Cloud Key Gen2 Plus combines the best of local and cloud-based device management. It comes with pre-installed UniFi applications (UniFi Network, UniFi Protect, UniFi Access, UniFi Connect, and UniFi Talk) for managing and configuring UniFi products. The front display shows basic network information, such as the number of connected APs and clients, or the time of the last motion detection. It also supports Bluetooth for quick configuration via mobile apps.
Video recordings from cameras are stored directly on the built-in 1 TB HDD, which can be replaced with a higher-capacity drive (2.5" SATA). The Cloud Key Gen2 Plus supports only hard drives that operate with 5 V power. Hard drives requiring additional or higher power are not supported. It also features an integrated battery that ensures the safe shutdown of all running processes in case of power loss.
The Cloud Key supports PoE power according to the 802.3af standard, passive PoE injector 48 V (power supply not included), or can be powered via USB-C using a Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 power adapter (DC 9 V, max. 2 A). The adapter is not included.
