Security features include IP-MAC-Port Binding, port security, Storm Control and DHCP Snooping, which provide protection against a wide range of network threats. The device has an integrated list of common DoS attacks, making it easier to defend against them. User access to the network can be monitored using 802.1X authentication, which works with the RADIUS/Tacacs+ server to grant access only to users with valid credentials. ERPS supports rapid protection and recovery in a ring topology. Full support for a range of L2+ features, including 802.1Q VLAN, port mirroring, link aggregation control protocol, and 802.3x flow control. The advanced IGMP Snooping feature ensures the switch intelligently forwards multicast traffic only to relevant subscribers, reducing unnecessary network traffic.
