With the 5G expansion kit, Turris Omnia will gain the ability to connect via 5G. The kit is based on an M.2 card with a Quectel RM500U modem. The downlink speed reaches up to 2600 Mbps and the uplink up to 650 Mbps. The 5G kit is compatible with all Turris Omnia models released between 2016 and 2020, as well as the Turris Omnia Wi-Fi-free versions and Turris Omnia 4G.
