Specialized tHAT4 expansion board for LAN controller devices with extended control and communication capabilities.
The tHAT4 is designed to expand the functionality of LAN controllers and offers additional open-collector outputs, connections for relay boards, and other communication interfaces. The board is fully compatible with models LK3.9 and LK3.7+ (hardware versions 3.7 and 3.8), while older models LK3.5 and LK3.6 do not support the Modbus (RS-485) converter.
Thanks to its design, the tHAT4 allows easy integration into existing systems and extends their functionality with the ability to control external devices via relays, communicate over the industrial Modbus RTU bus, and connect analog sensors.
IDC10 connectors for relay boards
The HAT4 is equipped with two IDC10 connectors specifically designed for connecting relay boards. The first connector provides OUT1–OUT4 lines, while the second offers PWM0–PWM3 lines and 3.3 V power.
Industrial Modbus RTU communication
Integrated support for the RS-485 industrial bus with Modbus RTU protocol enables connection to a wide range of industrial devices and sensors. The connection is made via a screw terminal with A+ and B– outputs.
Analog inputs and serial port
The board offers analog inputs INPA5 and INPA6 for connecting analog sensors. For advanced users, serial port leads (+5 V, Rx, Tx, GND) are also available for optional pin or wire soldering.
