The professional DS-K1107AM reader is designed for integration into access control and time attendance systems. Equipped with a 32-bit high-speed processor, it ensures fast and reliable data processing. It supports communication via RS-485 with OSDP protocol as well as classic Wiegand interface (W26/W34), allowing flexible connection to various types of control units.
The reader features a built-in M1 module for contactless cards with a frequency of 13.56 MHz and a reading range of up to 50 mm. Robust construction with IP65 rating and wide operating temperature range ensures reliable operation in demanding conditions. The integrated watchdog automatically restores functionality during exceptional states and extends device lifespan.
Flexible Communication
The reader supports multiple communication protocols simultaneously. The RS-485 interface with OSDP protocol provides modern bidirectional communication with advanced security features. Wiegand interface (W26/W34) can be activated using DIP switches for compatibility with legacy systems.
Security and Reliability
The integrated tamper alarm detects attempts to remove or tamper with the reader. The watchdog function continuously monitors operation and automatically restarts the system when an error is detected, ensuring long-term trouble-free functionality without the need for manual intervention.
Mounting and Installation
Compact dimensions of 115 × 44 × 22 mm allow installation in various locations. Mounting is done using screws directly to the wall; the reader is not designed for installation in a gang box.
