RUTM16 is a robust LTE Cat 6 router designed for worldwide deployment in industrial applications. Equipped with a Telit modem supporting LTE Cat 6 (up to 300 Mbps DL / 50 Mbps UL) and 3GPP Release 12, it ensures reliable connectivity across more than 40 LTE bands including both FDD and TDD. The built-in consumer eSIM enables remote management of up to 7 operator profiles without the need for physical site visits, significantly reducing operational costs for large-scale deployments.
The router features 5× Gigabit Ethernet ports (1× WAN, 4× LAN), Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) with speeds up to 867 Mbps supporting Mesh, Fast Roaming and MU-MIMO, GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS) and digital I/O (1× input, 1× output). The aluminum housing with DIN rail and operating temperature range of -40 to +75 °C make the RUTM16 ideal for deployment in transportation, energy, smart city, retail and industrial automation.
Mobile connectivity and SIM management
Dual SIM (2× Mini SIM 2FF) with automatic switching on weak signal, data limit, roaming or connection failure. Support for Multiple PDN, band lock, USSD, SMS (including EMAIL to SMS, SMS to HTTP), Auto APN, Bridge and Passthrough mode. Status displays IMSI, ICCID, operator, network type, CA indicator, bandwidth, connected band, signal strength (RSSI, SINR, RSRP, RSRQ, EC/IO, RSCP), data transferred, LAC, TAC, cell ID, ARFCN and more.
Advanced networking features
Static and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF v2, RIP v1/v2, EIGRP, NHRP), Policy based routing, VRRP, Load balancing across multiple WANs, Network backup (Wi-Fi WAN, Mobile, VRRP, Wired), QoS/SQM, DDNS (77 providers), DNS over HTTPS, Hotspot with captive portal, Radius authentication and SMS authorization. Support for TR-069 (OpenACS, GenieACS, LibreACS), MQTT Broker/Publisher, SNMP v1/v2/v3 with Trap, JSON-RPC API, SSH, CLI. Integration with ThingWorx, Cumulocity Cloud of Things, Azure IoT Hub (Device Provisioning Service, Direct methods) and AWS IoT Core (Jobs Support).
