RUTM20 is an ultra-compact industrial 5G router designed for IoT and IIoT solutions where size and cost matter. It features a global Telit 5G modem supporting 5G Sub-6GHz SA/NSA with speeds up to 2.5/3.4 Gbps DL (4×4 MIMO) and 900/550 Mbps UL (2×2), LTE Cat 19 (1.6 Gbps DL) and 3G (42 Mbps DL). The router is equipped with 2× physical SIM slots (Mini SIM 2FF) and 1× eSIM with support for up to 7 profiles, enabling remote carrier switching without physical intervention.
Thanks to PoE In/Out (802.3af/at) functionality, deployment is simplified – the router can be powered via PoE on the WAN port while simultaneously powering connected devices on the LAN port (max. 30 W). The aluminum housing with passive cooling ensures reliable operation in the range of -40 to +75 °C. The router is ideal for space-constrained solutions such as POS terminals, surveillance cameras, transportation systems, energy sector and industrial automation.
Advanced networking features
The router supports static and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF v2, RIP v1/v2, EIGRP, NHRP), policy-based routing, VLAN, QoS/SQM, load balancing, failover (Wi-Fi WAN, Mobile, VRRP, Wired), DDNS (77 providers), DNS over HTTPS and VRF. Hotspot functionality includes captive portal, internal/external Radius server, SMS authorization and SSO.
Industrial protocols and IoT platforms
RUTM20 supports industrial protocols Modbus TCP (server/client), OPC UA (client/server), BACnet/IP (router), DNP3 (station/outstation) and DLMS/COSEM (client). It integrates with IoT platforms Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, ThingWorx and Cumulocity. Data to Server feature enables data transmission via HTTP(S), MQTT and Azure MQTT with custom LUA scripting.
Remote management and monitoring
The router is compatible with Teltonika RMS (Remote Management System) platform for centralized management, configuration, monitoring, alerting and FOTA updates. It also supports TR-069 (OpenACS, EasyCwmp, GenieACS etc.), SNMP (v1, v2, v3), MQTT broker/publisher and JSON-RPC API.
