Lockerstor 2 Gen2+ AS6702T v2 is a network storage device equipped with a quad-core Intel Celeron N5105 processor manufactured in 10nm technology with clock speeds up to 2.9 GHz. The device features 4GB DDR4-2933 RAM (expandable up to 16 GB) and offers 2 SATA 6Gb/s slots for 3.5" or 2.5" drives. Uniquely, it includes four M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs, which can be used for cache or as additional storage with PCIe 3.0 support for doubled performance.
The device is equipped with two 5-gigabit Ethernet ports, which effectively double the available bandwidth using SMB Multichannel and provide performance comparable to 10GbE at a fraction of the cost. Connectivity is complemented by two USB 3.1 ports (10 Gbps) and one USB 2.0 port for slower devices such as printers or UPS. For local video output, there is an HDMI 2.0b port.
Cooling and M.2 SSD Installation
