The DS-3T1528HP-SI-24P4F switch represents a professional solution for building robust industrial networks with high requirements for powering end devices. It features a total of 24 Gigabit PoE ports, of which the first four support the IEEE 802.3bt Hi-PoE standard with a maximum output of up to 90 W per port. The remaining 20 ports provide standard PoE with 30 W per port according to IEEE 802.3af/at standards. For uplink connectivity, there are 4 Gigabit SFP ports available for optical connections.
The device is designed for extreme operating conditions with a working temperature range of -40 to +75 °C and surge protection of 6 kV. The metal construction with IP40 rating ensures durability in industrial environments. The switch supports advanced network features including 802.1Q VLAN, loop protection STP/RSTP/ERPS, QoS for traffic prioritization, and SNMP for remote management. The total PoE budget of 480 W allows powering dozens of IP cameras or other PoE devices simultaneously.
Advanced Network Features
The switch supports 802.1Q VLAN with the ability to configure up to 4094 VLAN IDs for network segmentation. The Link Aggregation feature allows aggregation of up to 8 port groups for increased throughput and redundancy. To ensure quality of service, QoS is implemented with support for port-based prioritization and SP and WRR scheduling modes. Loop protection is provided by 802.1D STP, 802.1w RSTP, and G.8032 ERPS protocols.
Management and Monitoring
The device can be managed through a web interface, SNMP v1/v2c protocol for integration with third-party platforms, or via proprietary Hikvision platforms. The DHCP Client function is enabled by default for automatic IP address assignment. For direct access, Super IP with a fixed address of 10.180.190.200 is available. The 802.1ab LLDP protocol enables discovery of neighboring devices on the network.
Security Features
The switch offers DHCP Snooping for protection against unauthorized DHCP servers, Storm Control to prevent network flooding with broadcast or multicast packets, and ACL with support for up to 64 entries and 128 rules. The IPSG (IP Source Guard) feature allows port, MAC address, and IP address binding with support for up to 256 security entries.
Power Supply and Consumption
The switch requires 48–57 V DC power supply with a current draw of 12 A. The recommended input voltage for stable operation is 52–57 V. The maximum device consumption is 500 W, while in idle mode without connected PoE devices it is only 20 W. It supports dual power supply with automatic switchover in case of primary source failure.
Mounting and Dimensions
The device is supplied with mounting brackets for installation in a 19" rack or can be placed on a desktop. Dimensions are 440 × 220.8 × 44 mm with a weight of 3.23 kg. A grounding terminal is available on the rear panel.
